I used this to spend the night at the Guyot Shelter in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This was higher than 4000 feet. Given that it is August and still very warm outside. I believe the temperature dropped to around 40 or 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and I was absolutely OK. I merely wore my boxers, as I always do while sleeping in a sleeping bag. I am 6′ 1″ tall and 215 pounds, and this fits well. However, I wish I had more breadth. However, lugging a big backpack for 22 kilometers adds weight to the equation.
